PASMA Tower Week promotes the power of the tower

In its first national Tower Week, being held on November 11th-15th, industry body PASMA plans to promote not only safety and best practice, but also the benefits of mobile access towers in a growing number of different applications. The week will also provide a snapshot of current tower use to inform future safety campaigns and projects.

IPAF training centres set record and close gap on half a million valid PAL Cards

A total of 127,365 people were trained by IPAF-approved training centres in 2013. This is an increase of 12.8% over the 112,887 people trained in 2012. Training available from IPAF-approved centres includes operator courses for which a PAL Card (Powered Access Licence) is issued, and harness and management courses for which a certificate is issued.
